How we review

For every app we review, we create an account, use the free tier, and then pay for the plan most people buy. We score five things on a 10-point scale:

• Chat quality: does the character stay in role and write natural replies?
• Images: quality and consistency of generated pictures.
• Memory: does it remember you across days?
• Value for money: what you get for the real total cost, including tokens.
• Privacy: billing, data deletion and account security.

Affiliate commissions never change a score. If an app gets worse, its score goes down.
